Performance Lab: A Weekend Mystery
Come develop your acting skills in a low-stress performance environment! We’ll put on a short play and learn a lot along the way!
About our script, A Weekend Mystery by Sara Feinberg: What begins a casual weekend in the country quickly becomes mysterious. The host drops hints that this will be an event unlike any other. Once the guests are seated for dinner, the lights go out and something is stolen! The group splits up to search the house for the missing object and missing guests.

Performance on Saturday,October 28 at 2:00 PM.

Mystery Party – Teen
A Roman Murder Mystery
The year is 176 and Marcus Aurelius, one of two Emperors of Rome, has been off expanding the Roman Empire. He has returned to the Imperial Palace in Rome for two reasons: the birthday party of his daughter, Lucilla, and to complete the marriage arrangement between his only surviving son, Commodus, and a young woman named Drusa Clovius. But when Drusa is found murdered, it’s up to everyone to find the killer – not only as justice for the victim, but also to prevent another war that the Roman Empire can ill afford!

Musical Theater Ensemble: Screen to Stage
Together we will build our musical theater skills by learning how to sing and dance ensemble songs from Broadway musicals that originated as movies! This full-week workshop includes a participant pizza party followed by a showcase at 5:30 on Friday.

Let’s Dance!
It’s time to get moving and grooving! Join us for a Broadway-style choreography workshop inspired by our favorite Disney stories. You’ll learn plenty of specific moves and techniques, and then perform them for family at the conclusion of the workshop.

School is out for the day! Let’s have some fun together – play theater games, do theater-related crafts, watch a musical, put on your own play, and more!

Design Lab: Props & Cocoa – Advanced

Fire-themed prop construction and cocoa consumption. Let’s explore different ways to make fake flames look real!

Parent note: Students will be using hand tools and crafting materials including Great Stuff spray foam insulation, spray paint, Exacto knives, etc. We also may have the opportunity to test out flash paper, a product commonly used by thespians and magicians, which requires the handling of a lighter. Safety precautions will be taken and all activities will be carefully modeled and supervised by staff.

Winter Springs Mystery Party – Teen
Get ready for another mysterious, suspicious event full of fun and surprises!

It’s 1956 in the idyllic town of Winter Springs, where white picket fences line the streets and the residents are all happy, clean-cut families. (At least, that’s what the town residents would have you believe.) Just down the road is the town of Forestville, Winter Springs’ biggest rival.

Tonight is supposed to be the night of the sock hop, and all the local teens from both towns will be there. But model student Jessie Ashford has just been found dead at Lovers’ Lane!

Who killed her? And why? That’s where you come in…
