Session H: Musical Theater I–The Aristocats (Session 1)

This musical romp is based on the beloved Disney film and packed with jazzy fun. When a feline family is cat-napped in the heart of Paris, it’s up to the rough-and-tumble alley cat, Thomas O’Malley, and his band of swingin’ jazz cats to save the day. This week will provide a fast-paced, fun education in musical theater (singing, dancing, and acting) while we work to stage this 30-minute musical.
This workshop includes a Saturday (July 30) rehearsal session and pizza party at the Ames Public Library with a performance at 2:00 PM.

• Entering grades 5-8
• July 25-29, and 30
  9:00 am – 4:00 pm Mon-Fri at Story Theater Company
  11:00am – 3:00 pm Saturday at Ames Public Library
• Workshop Fee: $230
• Max: 24 participants (Min: 15)

Performance: Saturday, July 30 @ 2:00 pm at Ames Public Library
