Do you like to think on your feet, work with a team, and possibly make people laugh (on purpose)? Sounds like you should audition for Snapshot!
This group of Snapshot members will learn and practice improv techniques on Monday evenings, 6:30-8:00 pm, January 20-April 21 (final performance on Friday, April 25). Beginning at the end of March, the team will present three improv shows in addition to their Monday evening meetings. Open to ages 12-18.
Snapshot is coached by Julia Feddersen.
A preliminary semester schedule may be found here.

The participation fee for Snapshot is $145. Scholarship assistance is available.
Audition Instructions
- Please arrive 10 minutes prior to your scheduled audition time to complete an audition form.
- Wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes that will allow you to move well.
- You will audition with a small group. You will be at your audition for 30 minutes. There is no need to bring a photo to this audition.
Important note for parent/guardians:
Because Snapshot is being coached by a solo instructor, one parent/guardian of a Snapshot member is required to attend at least one Monday night during the semester. You do not need to assist with rehearsal, you just need to be present in the theater. Feel free to bring a book or similar activity. (You may also experience some free entertainment.) A parent/guardian signup will be distributed after auditions.
A few helpful questions and answers
Will auditions be scary?
Nope! Especially not if you already think the idea of Snapshot sounds like fun.
Do I need previous improv experience?
Previous improv experience is not required.
Can I be in The Last Illusion or the Teen Play Festival and Snapshot?
Yes. Just be sure to communicate on your audition form any conflicts your show may have with Snapshot.
How do I apply for a scholarship?
Scholarship applications will be available to all cast members after auditions are complete. Scholarship requests are confidential and do not affect the audition or casting process. Please do not let the participation fee keep you from auditioning.
